About The Airport
Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP), named the No. 1 Best Small Airport in America in the 2026 USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, is located in Ronkonkoma, New York, and is owned and operated by the Town of Islip. Serving Nassau and Suffolk counties, ISP provides access to nearly three million residents and Long Island’s business and tourism markets. Six airlines—Avelo, Breeze, Cape Air, Frontier, JetBlue and Southwest—offer nonstop service to 16 nonstop destinations. The airport features close-in parking, a Ground Transportation Center and connections to the Long Island Rail Road’s Ronkonkoma station. Competitive airport costs and short taxi times complement a substantial local catchment, offering airlines opportunities to develop leisure, business and visiting-friends-and-relatives traffic.
