Introduction to New Honduran Capital Airport - Palmerola International Airport
December 2015 the government of Honduras awarded a 30 year concession for a new airport for the country’s capital Tegucigalpa. The Palmerola International Airport will replace the existing heavily constrained city airport Toncontin. The Honduran concessionaire EMCO is supported long term by Munich Airport from Germany that covers all airport related tasks including the operation.
