Parma international Airport PMF – LIMP  is to be considered "The New Facilitated Gateway to Nort-Western Italy", excellently located in the wealthy and productive heart of northern italian flatland, over 100km away from all neighbooring airports (Milan Linate, Bologna, Bergamo, Verona and Pisa).

in 2026 Parma Airport is at the center of a "major air connectivity development plan" launched last April, through a law passed by the Emilia-Romagna Region. The law provide for significant incentives for airlines intending to operate from Parma, including the elimination of the “Council tax” (Parma is the only airport in northwestern Italy offering this important cost saving to carriers) and access to incentive programs for the launch of new routes.
