A new entrant from Russia at Milan MXP
S7 Airlines will start a new direct route from Milan Malpensa to Moscow Domodedovo from 25th December 2019 with daily flights (a scale down to 4 weekly is scheduled from February to April).
A new airline and a new airport adding capillarity to MXP network portfolio. S7 is the fourth Russian carrier to connect Milan Malpensa with Russian Federation taking the opportunity to exploit a huge market worth 730,000 passengers, still with a consistent share (23%) of underserved flows, being the region of Milan the Italian one with the highest volumes of indirect traffic.
S7 codeshare partnership with Air Italy moreover will grant both end connectivity leveraging on each other’s network: from Southern Italy (7 destinations) and beyond (13 international destinations, 5 in North America) by Air Italy to all Russia (45 destinations) and beyond (13 destinations in CSI) by S7.
