Zurich Airport Brasil Seeks Operator for Vitória Airport's International Cargo Terminal.
Zurich Airport Brasil has launched a market consultation process to select a specialized operator for the management, operation, maintenance, and development of the International Cargo Terminal at Vitória Airport (TECA-VIX). The new contract is expected to become effective in June 2027.
The process covers the operation of the airport's customs-bonded primary zone facility, which is currently authorized to handle both import and export activities.
The initiative aims to strengthen the terminal's logistics capabilities and expand growth opportunities in strategic cargo segments, including:
- High-value goods
- Pharmaceutical products
- E-commerce shipments
- International cargo operations
Zurich Airport Brasil expects to attract experienced industry operators with the expertise and capability to drive the continued development of Espírito Santo's main international cargo gateway.
The project reflects the company's commitment to enhancing Vitória Airport's role as a logistics hub, supporting regional economic growth and increasing the airport's competitiveness in both domestic and international cargo markets.
