Floripa Airport Welcomes New JetSMART Service with Direct Flights to Córdoba

JetSMART has announced a new international route connecting Florianópolis and Córdoba, Argentina, further expanding air connectivity between Southern Brazil and one of Argentina's key regional markets. The seasonal service will operate from December 16, 2026, through March 2027, with five weekly frequencies and an expected throughput of approximately 6,000 passengers per month.

The new route marks JetSMART's debut on the Florianópolis-Córdoba market and reinforces Floripa Airport's strategy of expanding its international network during the peak summer season. Since launching operations in Florianópolis in 2023, the ultra-low-cost carrier has established a strong seasonal presence with services to Buenos Aires and Santiago.

Córdoba, known for its rich cultural heritage, historic architecture, and proximity to the Sierras de Córdoba, is one of the main gateways to Argentina's interior. At the same time, the new service is expected to further stimulate inbound tourism from Argentina to Florianópolis, one of Brazil's most sought-after coastal destinations.
