Geneva Airport announces New destinations for the 2019 - 2020 Winter Season

As the winter season starts on 27 October 2019, Genève Aéroport has new destinations, which will appeal to travellers looking for original getaways.

Although already started during the summer, the Kenya Airways long-haul flight is a real attraction for the winter season. With a flight to Nairobi four times a week. It is also the ideal platform for linking-up with a large part of sub-Saharan countries of the African continent.

This new line complements existing long-haul flights to Addis Ababa (Ethiopian Airlines), Montreal (Air Canada), New York JFK (SWISS), New York Newark (United Airlines), Beijing (Air China), Washington (United Airlines) and several destinations to the Persian Gulf.

Air Mauritius also offers a second weekly long-haul flight this winter (November to February) to Mauritius with their new A330neo latest generation aircraft.

Main operator in Geneva, easyJet launches new routes to Aqaba (Jordan) with two weekly flights, as well as Tirana (Albania) with three flights per week. The network is also completed with flights to Prague (Czech Republic) three times a week and Agadir (Morocco) twice a week.

For those who wish to go diving in the Red Sea, in addition to Hurghada, it will be possible to directly access the seaside resorts of Marsa Alam (Egypt), once a week with SWISS.

Access to the French Atlantic coast is made easy with a direct flight to Nantes proposed by Transavia France twice a week.

Several connections to major cities are also experiencing an increase in their frequencies, including Manchester, Porto and Vienna.

In total, some 53 airlines will connect Geneva to 115 destinations during the 2019-2020 winter season.
