First Flight of Meridiana Fly welcomed in Boryspil International Airport
The first flight of Meridiana Fly airline, one of the leading Italian carriers, was welcomed in Boryspil International Airport. This event started connection between Ukraine and Sardinia Island.
Olbia-Kyiv flight operated on Boeing 737 was watered. According to summer season timetable Kyiv-Olbia flight is scheduled for every Thursday. BoryspilInternationalAirportwill provide a full range of handling services.
Oleksandr Cherepanov, Boryspil International Airport Operations Director said: ‘It is the first flight connecting Ukraine and Sardinia. We are glad that our passengers have got opportunity of direct connection with this popular Italian resort’.
Mr. David Bertassello, international sales manager of Meridiana Fly, admitted: ‘We enlarged our routes network with one of the most important destination in Eastern Europe. This flight is operated on B737 aircrafts with redesigned interior. Premium service will be available on the board in July. New Olbia-Kyiv flight is an important stage in our routes network broadening from Sardinia to the countries in Eastern Europe and the best way to the capital of Ukraine.’
