About The Airport

Gold Coast Airport (GCA) is the gateway to Australia’s premier tourist destination and Northern NSW, and the fifth busiest international airport in Australia. On the Queensland New South Wales border, it is the second largest airport for both states. GCA is forecast to welcome 13 million passengers annually by 2044.

The $500M Southern Terminal Expansion, opened in 2022, delivers a three level terminal with aerobridges, doubling floor area and enabling swing (domestic/international) operations. GCA also has a MARS-configured apron with 19 Code C and 9 Code E stands.

GCA is the most connected Australian airport on the Tasman with six direct New Zealand destinations, plus Bali, and 10 domestic connections, including up to 27 daily flights to Sydney and 25 flights per day to Melbourne.
