The activities of February and the first two months of 2012 were summed up at the Novosibirsk Airport (Tolmachevo).

In February 2012 at The Novosibirsk Airport (Tolmachevo) were served 207,104 passengers, that is 33.8% higher than in 2011.  97,191 passengers were sent (an increase of 32% compared to 2011), 96 923 passengers has arrived (31.2% growth), and the number of transit passengers totaled 12,990 people (an increase of 80.1%).

The number of passengers in February 2011 on international flights totaled 78 077 people (an increase to the same value in 2011 43.6%) for domestic flights - 129,027 people (an increase of 28.6%).

In the second month of 2012 at the Novosibirsk Airport (Tolmachevo) were handled 1266 sorties, that is 18.3% more than in February 2011.

For the first two months of 2012 the Tolmachevo Airport have served 2,531 sorties, that is 13.9% higher than in 2011. Total passenger traffic since the beginning of the year totaled 423,102 people (up to 2011 - 33.3% ): 199 865 passengers were sent (30% more than in 2011), and 198,060 people have arrived (up to 2011 - 32.4% ) , the number of transit passengers totaled 25,177 people (an increase of  78.4% ).

During January and February 2012 the number of passengers on international flights totaled 160,958 persons (36.8% higher than in 2011) on domestic flights - 262,144 passengers (an increase of   31.2%).

At the Tolmachevo airport  is being held systematic work to attract new airlines and develop the route network. The nearest plans for the regional route network development of the Tolmachevo Airport   includes the renewal of routes to Salekhard, Omsk, Abakan, opening of new scheduled flights to Tyumen, Karaganda (Kazakhstan), Pavlodar (Kazakhstan). The international directions will be represented by the opening of flights to Istanbul (Turkey) in March, to Dusseldorf (Germany) in may and to Minsk (Belarus) in june. Also active negotiations are underway about flights to Milan (Italy), Hong Kong (China) and Tel Aviv (Israel).
