New S7 Airlines route Novosibirsk – Munich

December 23, 2012, on the eve of Christmas and New Year holidays, S7 Airlines launched new regular flights on the route Novosibirsk - Munich. Flights will be operated once a week on Sundays on Boeing 737-800.

Following the good tradition, Novosibirsk International Airport welcomed passengers of the first flight with the specially baked cake and wishes of a pleasant journey and enjoyable Christmas and New Year holidays.

During 2012 new international flights from Novosibirsk were opened also to Minsk, Istanbul, Dusseldorf, Sharjah, Hong Kong, Kulob, Ferghana and Ganja.

Novosibirsk International Airport (Tolmachevo) is the largest air hub east of the Urals on major transit routes between Europe and Asia. The capacity on domestic flights is 1 800 passengers per hour, on international flights - 750 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways. In 2012 it expects to serve over 3.2 million passengers. The airport has been nominated for World Routes Awards in the category "The Best Airport of CIS 2012".
