Sofia Airport welcomed Swiss International’s flight on the direct route Sofia – Zurich

On Thursday, 14 May 2015, Sofia Airport welcomed Swiss International’s flight on the direct route Sofia – Zurich. All guests enjoyed the exceptional water salute colored by beautiful rainbow. The air service between the two cities is currently operated on a yearly basis from Terminal 2 at Sofia Airport.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Ivaylo Moskovski – the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, Mr. Hristo Shterionov – Executive Director of Sofia Airport, Mr. Bernhard Wodl – Head of SWISS Austria and Central Eastern, the ambassadors of the two countries Their Excellences Mrs. Meglena Plugchieva and Mr. Denis Knobel.
Sofia Airport greeted the passengers and the aircraft crew with branded cupcakes.
