The Air France-KLM Group resumes connections from Venice

PRESS RELEASE  May 28, 2020 (Airfrance KLM Group) - The Air France-KLM Group is the first international air group to reactivate flights from Venice. From June 1, it will gradually resume connections and, by the end of the month, it will connect Marco Polo airport with with Paris Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam Schiphol.

"Returning to fly to Venice is a source of great pride for us and confirms its importance of the lagoon city and the whole of Veneto for the Air France-KLM Group. In the last weeks we have put in place all the necessary measures to fly safely and we are now ready to start again in June, in view of the imminent tourist season," says Stefan Vanovermeir, Air France-KLM East Mediterranean General Manager.

“The reactivation of flights over Amsterdam and Paris by the Air France-KLM Group is by particular relevance because it marks the restart of traffic for Venice airport international on two important European hubs and opens our territory to welcome newfound products visitor flows ”says Enrico Marchi, President of the SAVE Group.

Flights from Venice to Amsterdam, from 1 June, one flight per day. 
For Paris Charles de Gaulle, starting June 4th:
• 2 flights the first week of June
• 3 flights the second week of June
• 5 flights the third week of June
• 7 flights the fourth week of June

The European network is designed in such a way that as many flights as possible connect to intercontinental network of the Air France-KLM Group.

Health measures taken:
Compulsory mask and social distancing on board, sanitizing the seats and all the surfaces inside the aircraft, air exchange every 3 minutes through the air filtering consisting of HEPA particulate filters, identical to those used in the rooms surgery, capable of removing more than 99% of viral and bacterial contaminants.
