Qatar Airways First B787 in Zurich

Yesterday morning, Zurich airport welcomed its first ever B787 Dreamliner flight. Qatar Airways flight QR61, scheduled to arrive at 06.30lt, touched down some minutes ahead of schedule. The flight departed back to Doha as QR62, STD 11.20lt.
During the ground time, journalists enjoyed a guided tour through the aircraft cabin and had the chance to take a close look at the aircraft exterior from the tarmac. The passengers of the first departing B787 flight enjoyed drinks and snacks at the gate prior boarding.
During January, Qatar Airways will have a mixed operation with B787 and A330. As of February 2013, all flights will be operated with Boeing 787 (daily flights).
