Lukas Brosi appointed new Chief Financial Officer

Flughafen Zürich AG has designated a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As per February 1, 2017, Lukas Brosi – who is the deputy of current CFO Daniel Schmucki – has been appointed new Chief Financial Officer.

In early October 2016, Flughafen Zürich AG announced the demission of its long-term Chief Financial Officer Daniel Schmucki. Flughafen Zürich AG is happy to announce that with 37-year-old Lukas Brosi the management position could be filled with an internal candidate. Brosi will take over his new role on February 1, 2017. Daniel Schmucki will therefore leave the company at the end of January 2017. In 2009, Lukas Brosi became part of the competent financial team of the airport operator. Since 2013, he has held the position as Head Financial Services as well as the position as Schmucki’s deputy.

Lukas Brosi began his career at Flughafen Zürich AG as Group Treasurer in 2009. A year later, he became Head Treasury & Risk Management. In 2013, he was appointed Head Financial Services and deputy of the CFO. Before he started working for the airport operator, Lukas Brosi held several positions at the Swiss bank UBS AG Basel and Opfikon. Lukas Brosi is married and a father of two children.
