Edinburgh Airport Launches New Airside Chauffeur Service
As of February 14th 2019, Edinburgh Airport will be offering a new airside chauffeur pick-up service.
The service, operated by Edinburgh Executive Carriages (EEC), adds to the airport’s growing number of premium passenger services.
The airside chauffeur service will offer passengers a quick and easy way to leave the airport within minutes. An EEC chauffeur driver will pick up pre-booked passengers from the bottom of the aircraft steps and transport them directly to their final destination in the city, bypassing the airport terminal.
The service is currently only available for passengers travelling on domestic point-to-point flights and travelling with hand luggage. EEC vehicles can accommodate fold-down wheelchairs, allowing passengers with restricted mobility to use the service as well.
