Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen closed the summer season with a record-breaking record

Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, which demonstrated its best monthly performance of all time with a historic record in August, welcomed a total of 4,699,318 passengers, including 2,114,900 domestic and 2,584,418 international passengers.

Another success was achieved among European airports in August. According to the Airports Council of Europe (ACI) August 2025 Airport Traffic Report, Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport achieved a 21.5% increase in traffic in August 2025 compared to August 2025, making it the fastest-growing airport in the "Major Airports" category with a passenger capacity exceeding 40 million.

Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, which has achieved rapid growth momentum, became the airport that increased its passenger numbers the most in Europe, with a 13.3% increase in the first eight months of 2025 compared to its performance in the previous year.

With its outstanding performance among European airports, ISG reached a total of 31.2 million passengers between January and August 2025, ranking 9th in Europe in passenger traffic.

Today, ISG connects a total of 149 destinations in 53 countries, 39 domestic and 110 international, and is one of the largest "entry" and "connection" points of Istanbul and Türkiye, working to bring convenience and comfort to the travel experience of millions of passengers.
