95th Birthday of Lodz Airport in Central Poland
We celebrated our 95 Anniversary this month.
The airport in the city of Lodz in Central Poland was founded 95 years ago. It was one of the first airports in our country. We celebrated this anniversary with our passengers, friends and neighbours although the fest was rather modest due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
There were available tours around the airport for those wishing to see the backstage of aviation. We had a competition on FB with some interesting treats and other attractions. We asked people to share their happy memories connected with Lodz Airport and we collected stories from seniors associated in the Aviation Senior Club in Lodz.
On one Saturday, we invited people from neighbouring residential area and passengers for an evening with live music on the outside view terrace and offered sweets and a glass of champagne to celebrate the Lodz Airport birthday.
