Lodz Airport: Lodz like Las Vegas

Without the desert, casinos, mega-hotels, and Elvis Presley impersonators, Łódź achieved the same ranking as this American city in the ICCA rankings.

ICCAWorld is the International Congress and Convention Association, an organization that tracks global migratory congresses. Once a year, it publishes a report on the number of international events organized in each city and country. In 2023, after a one-year break, Łódź returned to the ranking by reporting 9 events, of which 8 congresses met the report's criteria.

This earned Łódź city the 248th position worldwide, alongside Las Vegas, Mainz, Leeds, and Baku. 

Poland achieved a record 17th place globally with 179 international congresses organized in 2023.

Thanks to the organization of Aviation Forum Routes Europe in May 2023, the city of Łódź and Poland contributed to achieving high positions in the rankings.
