easyJet to fly from Newquay Cornwall Airport for the first time

easyJet will operate direct services to London Southend and Liverpool from June 2013

easyJet, the South West’s largest airline, has announced today that it will operate flights from  Newquay Cornwall Airport for the first time in its history.

The airline will operate six services per week to Liverpool and London Southend from summer 2013 with tickets going on sale today.  easyJet expects to attract over 20,000 passengers on services to and from Cornwall– with fares starting from £27.49. 

About the new services:

  • London Southend will operate three times per week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and the inaugural flight will take place on 20 June 2013.
  • Liverpool will operate three times per week on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday and the inaugural flight will take place on 4 July 2013.
