Cyprus Among the Highest-Ranked European Countries in Air Connectivity Growth, According to ACI Europe

The latest ACI Europe Airport Industry Connectivity Report for the year 2025 published last week, ranks Larnaka and Pafos Airports first, among European airports in terms of the growth rate in direct air connectivity, in terms of number of flights and total destinations served.The increase recorded for 2025 compared to 2024 is an 18%.
Moreover, Cyprus ranks second among European countries in the growth of direct air connectivity in 2025 compared to 2019, with a 22% increase.
Finally, based on the same report, Cyprus ranks third among European countries in the growth of total air connectivity (direct and indirect flights) for 2025 compared to 2019, with an 8% increase.
Hermes Airports, as the operator of Larnaka and Pafos airports, is focused on continuously enhancing the island's connectivity, addressing also the seasonality gaps. This is achieved through a targeted strategy that includes campaigns to attract underserved routes and deepen penetration into key markets.
