Cyprus Airports Record Highest-Ever September Passenger Traffic, Driven by Key European Markets

September 2025 was the strongest September on record for Cyprus Airports, with passenger traffic rising by an impressive 9% year-on-year — compared to 2024.
This robust growth underscores Cyprus’s enduring appeal as one of the most popular leisure destinations in the Mediterranean.
The surge was largely driven by key source markets such as Israel, Greece, Poland, Germany, and Romania.
Larnaka Airport
Larnaka Airport handled 1,098,266 passengers in September, representing a 9.2% increase compared to the same month in 2024.
From January to September 2025, Larnaka Airport served 7,696,487 passengers, a 14.8% year-on-year increase, reflecting strong year-roud demand and expanded airline connectivity.
Pafos Airport
Pafos Airport welcomed 434,854 passengers in September, an 8.3% increase over September 2024.
Cumulatively, Pafos Airport recorded 2,964,360 passengers in the first nine months of 2025.
These results reflect the success of strategic partnerships with airlines and ongoing network expansion efforts.
