Icelandair opens new route between Keflavik and Geneva

The first flight to Geneva with Icelandic carrier Icelandair departed from Keflavik Int. Airport last Saturday, May 24th. The flight will be operated 2 x weekly until September 23rd 2014.

Geneva is a historical city and a major center for international institutions due to a large majority of its 1.1 million residents are of foreign origin.  Geneva is located by Lake Geneva in the west part of Switzerland on the border with France.

This new route to Geneva is an answer to the growing demand in the Swiss market for tourism flights to Iceland.
