Dubai Airports manages the operation of both of Dubai’s airports – Dubai International (DXB), the world’s number one airport for international guests since 2014, and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International (DWC), the world’s future aviation hub.
DXB Q3-2025 Traffic:
- DXB recorded the highest quarterly traffic in Q3 with 24.2m guests (+1.9% YoY).
- YTD September traffic reached 70.1 million
- Total flight movements YTD September rose 2.7% to reach 336K.
- DXB handled 63.8m bags during the first nine months with 99.8% accuracy.
- Load factor was 77% with average pax per flight at 213.
- Annual traffic in 2025 is expected to reach 95.2m; 99.5m in 2026 and 101.4m in 2027.
- Direct traffic share reached 54% (44% transfer traffic).
- As of September, DXB is connected to 279 destinations via 104 airlines.
- YTD August DXB recorded 1.4m tonnes of cargo (updated stats awaited).
DWC Q3-2025 Traffic:
- YTD September, the passenger traffic at DWC reached 915K (+35.9%).
- CIS was top market with 497K guests followed by GCC (153K) and W Europe (115K).
- Cargo volume at DWC reached 481K tonnes (+1.6%) at the end of September.
- Flight movements went up by 25% to reach 42,800.
