On August 5, 2009 the air fleet of Belavia Belarusian airlines will be renewed by a new one Boeing 737/500, that was acquired from the International Lease Finance Corporation (the USA).

In spite of the fact, that in June of the current year Belavia announced about the completion of the aircraft acquisition program in 2009, in connection with the increased quantity of flights and rather high loading, this measure was taken to supply a consumer demand. Moreover, the airline continues widening of its route network (recently a direct regular flight Minsk-Beirut was opened, starting from August, 10 of the current year the operation of regular flight Minsk- Amsterdam will commence).

The previous aircraft Boeing operator was the Lithuanian airline Flylal. The aircraft will arrive from Miami (the USA) to the National airport Minsk with stopovers. Technical examination showed that the aircraft is in good condition.  The aircraft is intended to transport 123 economy class passengers, in future it is planned to re-equip the cabin for providing both business and economy class servicing.

         Nowadays, Belavia air fleet consists of 4 x (starting from August 5, 2009 of 5) Boeing 737-500, 3 x Boeing 737-300, 3 x CRJ- 100/200, 4 x TU 154-M, 1 x TU-134.
