About The Airline

The fleet operated by Helvetic Airways AG consits of 22 Embraer aircraft: E190, E195, E190-E2 and E195-E2. Helvetic Airways has one of the largest fleets for short and medium regional flights in Europe. Fourteen Helvetic Embraer E190-E1s are currently operated on behalf of Swiss International Air Lines under a long-term aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance (ACMI) lease agreement. The further fleet members are deployed on Helvetic Airways’ own scheduled and charter services or under other ACMI lease agreements. The airline, whose workforce currently numbers 570 employees, also operates an EASA Part 145-certificated maintenance facility at Zurich Airport.
Helvetic Airways has been working closely with Horizon Swiss Flight Academy AG (www.horizon.sfa.ch), which is based in Kloten, Switzerland, since 2008. Both companies are part of the Helvetic Airways Group, which is domiciled in Freienbach, Switzerland.
