About The Airline
Loganair is the UK’s second largest regional airline, and is undergoing a period of significant expansion following the launch of services under its own brand in September 2017.
In 2019, we will be operating over 250 flights each weekday with a fleet of 43 aircraft, with a team of 840 employees welcoming over 1.4 million passengers per year aboard our flights. We expect to report a profit in the financial year to 31 March 2019 and are in the strongest financial position of any UK regional airline.
Loganair is consistently in the top five of UK airlines for punctuality; and second place amongst airlines in UK & Ireland for Net Promoter Score (NPS) based on TripAdvisor reviews.
We are aiming to maintain our position in the punctuality league tables and further improve our NPS position by expanding service at airports with a clear commitment to customer convenience and service.
Our product will continue to include a free checked baggage allowance, complimentary in-flight refreshments and the Clan Loganair frequent flyer programme, which now has more than 50,000 members. The product is integral to Loganair’s brand, although it does require us to carefully consider how to communicate our services and ensure we are able to communicate this value proposition to customers, particularly in lower-yielding markets.
Loganair is a BA codeshare partner and we have interline agreements in place with KLM, Air France, Wideroe, Turkish Airlines, Thomas Cook, Emirates and Qatar Airways, and expect to add Aer Lingus and United Airlines to this list of partners in the second quarter of 2019. Loganair also participates in the Worldwide by easyJet programme.
We are open to discussions with further airline partners where these will enhance the commercial performance of Loganair’s routes, current and future.
