The "Culture bikeway"
A new way to discover the provinces of Bergamo and Brescia
“Ciclovia della cultura” - Culture bikeway”
That's the name of the new cycle path that will link Bergamo and Brescia in 2023, when the two cities will be Italian Culture Capitals.
The new cycle path will run for 75kms in the charming and breath-taking landscape of the eastern Lombardy region passing through little villages, monasteries, castles and national heritages. Starting from Bergamo’s Upper city, the new path will include also Milan Bergamo Airport and then will continue across the Serio River natural area, going over to the hills of Bergamo's province to reach the beautiful and historical city Brescia passing through Iseo Lake and Franciacorta wineyards.
The project will open new opportunities to explore the undiscovered beauties of the eastern Lombardy in a green and sustainable way.
