SkyUp to start new Milan Bergamo – Chisinau for Summer 2027

SkyUp (U5) has opened ticket sales for a new direct service between Milan Bergamo and Chisinau for the summer 2027 season. The route will operate twice-weekly from May to October 2027, every Tuesday and Friday.

Milan Bergamo Airport will further strengthen its connectivity with Eastern Europe in the summer 2027 season with the arrival of SkyUp™ (U5) on the Italy – Moldova corridor. The new SkyUp™ service will connect Milan Bergamo Airport with Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, offering passengers an additional direct travel option between Northern Italy and Moldova during the summer season.

The Milan Bergamo (BGY) – Chisinau (RMO) – Milan Bergamo (BGY) route will be operated from 28 May to 29 October 2027.

The route responds to strong demand for travel between Italy and Moldova, supported by family and community ties, business mobility, and leisure travel. It will also provide more choice for passengers travelling between Lombardy and Chisinau, with direct access to Moldova’s main airport and its growing network of international connections.
