Noi Bai International Airport welcomes Etihad Airways' new Hanoi - Abu Dhabi route
On November 2nd, 2025, Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), officially launched a regular direct flight connecting Hanoi (Vietnam) and Abu Dhabi (UAE). The inaugural flight, EY430, landed safely at Noi Bai International Airport.

This event marks a significant milestone in expanding the international flight network at Noi Bai International Airport, strengthening its role as a strategic air gateway for the capital city, and meeting the growing demand for travel, trade, and tourism between Vietnam and the Middle East.
The inaugural flight was solemnly welcomed at Noi Bai International Airport. Speaking at the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan – Deputy Director of Noi Bai International Airport – emphasized: "We are delighted to welcome Etihad Airways on its launch of a direct flight to Hanoi. Noi Bai International Airport is committed to closely cooperating and providing the most favorable conditions in terms of infrastructure and services to ensure the airline operates the new route safely and efficiently, contributing to the promotion of comprehensive cooperation between the two countries".
Etihad Airways operates the Hanoi - Abu Dhabi route with a frequency of 6 round-trip flights per week, using the modern wide-body Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. The aircraft are designed with comfortable seating classes, including the award-winning Business Studio® and Economy Smart seats, along with advanced entertainment systems and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The launch of this direct flight not only provides a convenient travel option for passengers but also serves as a crucial link for trade activities. The new service will enhance air cargo capacity, providing strong support for Vietnam's rapidly growing export sectors such as high-tech goods, electronics, textiles, and agricultural products. From Abu Dhabi, cargo and passengers can easily connect to Etihad's global flight network in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and North America.
According to the flight schedule, the route will be operated 6 times a week. Flight EY430 departs from Abu Dhabi at 09:05 and arrives in Hanoi at 18:10 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. In the return flight, EY431 departs from Hanoi at 20:00 and arrives in Abu Dhabi at 00:35 the following morning on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
In addition, flight EY432 departs from Abu Dhabi at 20:50 and arrives in Hanoi at 05:55 the following morning on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Flight EY433 departs from Hanoi at 07:40 and arrives in Abu Dhabi at 12:15 on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
The official launch of the direct Hanoi - Abu Dhabi route by Etihad Airways once again affirms the attractiveness of the capital's aviation market and the service capacity, safety, and efficiency of Noi Bai International Airport.
