Recap Route Asia Xi’an 2026

From 14–16 April 2026, Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) participated in Routes Asia 2026, held in Xi’an, China. Bringing together airlines, airports, and key aviation stakeholders, the event served as a strategic forum for shaping future connectivity across Asia-Pacific. The programme further enabled ACV to strengthen strategic partnerships, exchange market intelligence, and explore potential avenues for network expansion across the region.

Driving Growth through Bilateral Engagement

Throughout the three-day programme, ACV engaged in a series of in-depth meetings and bilateral networking sessions, aimed at strengthening existing partnerships while identifying new route opportunities. Discussions focused on advancing plans for new international services and the restoration of previously operated routes, with particular attention to market demand and operational feasibility.

Backed by a network of 21 airports and a continuously enhanced infrastructure platform, ACV is well positioned to support the long-term growth of airline partners. In addition to major gateways such as SGN (Tan Son Nhat int’l airport)and HAN (Noi Bai int’l airport), ACV also highlighted the growing role of point-to-point hubs including HUI (Phu Bai int’l airport), DLI (Lien Khuong int’l airport), HPH (Cat Bi int’l airport) and VCA (Can Tho int’l airport), alongside emerging markets such as Dong Hoi. These discussions reflected a broader strategy to diversify connectivity, unlock high-potential secondary markets, and support more direct international services across Vietnam.
