“Ryanair is pleased to announce a new Brno to Milan Bergamo route which will operate twice-weekly from the end of October as part of our Winter 2018 schedule and goes on sale today from the Ryanair.com website. We are pleased that we were able to start the service with the first flight scheduled on a very symbolic date of the 100th Anniversary of Czechoslovakia on 28th October. Ryanair will operate 2 routes from Brno airport to London Stansted and Milan Bergamo.

To celebrate we are releasing seats for sale from 709 Kč for travel in November and December, which are available for booking until Monday (16th July). Since these amazing low fares will be snapped up quickly, customers should log onto www.ryanair.com and avoid missing out.”

Governor of the South Moravian Region Bohumil Šimek said:

“Thanks to the positive can-do approach to negotiations on the new route, we now have regular airline connection with Milan. This is good news for all citizens and regular visitors of the South Moravian. I would like first of all to appreciate how promptly Ryanair has been able to establish the new line. Search for available capacity usually starts one or two seasons in advance, but this line is to be launched already this year in winter. This is really a great achievement for our negotiation team. I think this is another step in our joint strategy of gradually increasing the number of regular lines for the inhabitants and visitors of our region. Negotiations on further possibilities of cooperation with this company will go on."

Brno Airport’s chairman of the Board Milan Kratina said:

“When Accolade Group invested into the Brno airport, I promised that we were going to make Brno fly. Today we are announcing the first new line. I would like to thank Ryanair for the right decision to open it, and I especially appreciate its ability to find space for it in its flight schedule already this year. Milan Bergamo is a popular destination for passengers from our region and conversely the City of Brno and the South Moravian Region are the perfect destinations for both tourism and business. I believe the new route will be a success.”
