Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks Expand Christmas Markets Programme for Winter 2026/27

In response to continued demand for their enormously popular Christmas Markets programme, the leading leisure airline and UK’s leading operator of European city breaks will operate flights and city breaks to Copenhagen from Birmingham Airport for the first time next winter.

Two new weekly services (Thursday and Sunday) will operate to the Danish capital from 19th November to 20th December 2026, givingcustomers and independent travel agents in the Midlands even more choice and flexibility when it comes to booking trips to magical winter wonderlands all around Europe and giving themselves something to look forward to next Christmas.

Copenhagen is the ultimate fairytale playground for a whimsical festive getaway where holidaymakers can immerse themselves in Christmas cheer and all things jolly, as they discover Nyhavn and its annual market by the canal and go ice-skating in the magical Tivoli Gardens.

As a result of this expansion, Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks will operate to eight Christmas market destinations for Winter 2026/2027 from Birmingham Airport – Budapest, Cologne, Copenhagen, Gdansk, Krakow, Prague, Tallinn and Vienna from November 2026 to January 2027, meaning customers can visit some of the most dazzling Christmas market destinations in Europe next winter.
