Winter Season 2016/2017 at Kraków Airport

In the winter season, as many as six new routes will be offered to passengers by two largest airlines operating from Kraków Airport – Ryanair and easyJet. Tourists arriving at Kraków will have the opportunity to discover winter attractions of Kraków and Małopolska.

In the winter season 14 airlines offer flights to Kraków: airberlin, Austrian Airlines, British Airways, Brussels Airlines, easyJet, Finnair, Jet2.com, KLM, Lufthansa, Norwegian, PLL LOT, Ryanair, SWISS International Air Lines and SAS Scandinavian Airlines.

The new routes in the winter schedule include easyJet flights to: Switzerland (Geneva), Great Britain (Manchester) and Italy (Naples and Venice). The main airline operating from Kraków Airport, Ryanair, will launch flights to Great Britain (Bournemouth, Belfast).

The winter schedule will also include this year’s new routes from the summer season: easyJet to Milan Malpensa, Jet2.com to Manchester, Ryanair to Bristol and SAS Scandinavian Airlines to Copenhagen.
 
For the first time, the winter schedule will include flights of Ryanair to Malaga and Cagliari.

In addition, due to the closure of Oslo Rygge airport, Ryanair will launch flights to Oslo Torp airport.

When compared to the previous winter season, the number of connections has increased by 9. The schedule will include again the seasonal flight of Ryanair airlines to Ovda (Ejlat). In the winter season the airlines have increased the frequency of flights on 10 routes, including the largest European hubs: British Airways to London Heathrow (from 4 to 6 flights weekly), KLM to Amsterdam (from 7 to 14 flights  weekly), SWISS International Air Lines to Zurich (from 4 to 6 flights  weekly), and SAS Scandinavian Airlines route to Copenhagen is to be continued in winter.
