Summer season shines in Marseille Provence Airport: +12.2% in April!
In April 2019, MRS airport has welcomed 913,756 passengers, a 12% growth compared to April last year.
All networks benefit from this growth, partly driven by new routes opening:
- Internation traffic +13.1%
- Europe +13.4%
- North Africa +12.9%
- Long Haul +8.6%
- Domestic traffic +12%
- Paris +4%
- Corsica +1.3%
- French regions +26%
As a reminder, April last year was heavily impacted by strikes, with an estimated volume of 50,000+ passengers lost.
With 2,907,220 passengers (+8%) since the beginning of the year, 2019 looks very promising!
