Air Canada at Nice: Quality upgrade and greater frequency

Air Canada at Nice: Quality upgrade and greater frequency

up to 5 flights per week in Air Canada's A330-300

Air Canada has announced service changes to its Nice-Montreal route. The route will now be operated by Air Canada, in place of Air Canada Rouge which had operated it since its opening. Next year, the route will be open from 8 May to 24 October.

For this new season, Air Canada will offer up to 5 flights per week in the A330-300, compared to 4 per week previously. Flights will take off from Nice at 13:30 and land in Montreal at 16:00. Return flights will leave Montreal at 18:45 and land in Nice at 08:10.

Passengers on the Nice-Montreal route will also benefit from new services. Formerly operated by Air Canada Rouge on a B767-300 equipped with two cabins, from next year the Nice-Montreal route will offer three cabin classes:

The Air Canada “Signature” cabin: 27 lie-flat Business Class seats and ultra-modern services. Exceptional on-board service and first-rate cuisine await passengers.
The “Premium” Economy cabin: 21 ultra-comfortable seats. Enhanced amenities and priority airport services transform travelling into an enjoyable, relaxing experience.
The Economy cabin: 244 seats. Personal screens at each seat allow passengers to relax and enjoy their time on board, and a meal and drinks service is also on offer.

“We are happy to announce that from next season, passengers will find new services and greater frequency on our direct flights between Nice and Montreal. The arrival of an Air Canada A330-300, with the addition of our Air Canada Signature cabin, will ensure greater comfort.” said Jean-François Raudin, Air Canada Managing Director for France.

“Air Canada’s quality upgrade with its Air Canada Signature Class at our airport is a mark of confidence for for which we thank them, and which increases the number of seats on offer between Nice and Montreal by 58%. This aligns with our efforts to create ever more connections between our region and the world, and more broadly to create gateways to all regions by offering travellers a quality alternative to the major hubs of Northern Europe,” said Dominique Thillaud, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur.
