RFD Reports 9.9% Increase in August Traffic
Year-To-Date Traffic up 8.1%
Rockford, Ill. – The Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD) released traffic statistics for August 2013. Reports show a 9.9% increase in traffic over August of 2012. The increase can be attributed to the continuation of Allegiant service to Ft. Meyers/Punta Gorda and Frontier utilizing a larger aircraft for Denver flights. Flights departing in August averaged a 97% load factor.
“We are proud to have served more than 1.7 million passengers as we celebrate 10 years of air service,” said Mike Dunn, RFD Director.

August 2012 – 13,452 Passengers
Year-To-Date Statistics
January – August 2013 – 165,517 Passengers
January – August 2012 – 153,102 Passengers
