Skopje International Airport (SKP), operated by TAV Airports since 2010, is the principal international gateway to North Macedonia. Located approximately 25 km from the capital, the airport provides access to Skopje and the wider Balkan region.

SKP handled approximately 3.2 million passengers in 2025, representing growth of nearly 9% compared with 2024. During the year, the airport served 65 destinations with 25 airlines and added 17 new routes.

Skopje Airport achieved Level 3 Airport Carbon Accreditation and was recognised as one of the Best Airports in Eastern Europe at the 2025 Skytrax World Airport Awards. It also received ACI’s 2025 ASQ Award for the “Easiest Airport Journey in Europe.”
