WIZZ AIR BASE OPENING AT BRATISLAVA AIRPORT

Bratislava, 14 November 2025 – Wizz Air, Europe’s fastest-growing and most sustainable ultra-low-cost airline, today celebrated the official opening of its new base at Bratislava Airport (BTS). The airline is stationing four Airbus A321neo aircraft in the Slovak capital, supporting operations across 30 routes that connect Bratislava with major European cities and leisure destinations.

 The new base represents a major step for Wizz Air in Slovakia and further strengthens Bratislava’s position as a growing hub for affordable travel and regional connectivity.

 The opening of the Bratislava base underscores Wizz Air’s long-term commitment to Slovakia.  To support growth at its new Bratislava base, Wizz Air will also host two cabin crew recruitment events. The sessions scheduled for November 24th in Mosonmagyaróvár and November 25th in Bratislava offer candidates the opportunity to join one of Europe’s fastest-growing airlines, with roles based in Bratislava.
