Record Summer Flight Schedule at Bratislava Airport

M. R. Štefánik Airport in Bratislava is introducing the most extensive summer flight schedule in its history, effective from Sunday, 29 March. Passengers will be able to choose from 77 scheduled routes to 63 destinations in 29 countries. Including charter destinations, flights from Bratislava will serve more than 80 destinations in total.

“A total of 77 scheduled routes represents a record and a twofold increase compared to last year, when 39 scheduled routes to 36 destinations in 17 countries were available. Such a wide range of travel options has never been offered in the airport’s 75-year history,“ said Dušan Novota, CEO of M. R. Štefánik Airport.

16 BRAND NEW ROUTES

The largest number of new scheduled routes - 13 in total - is being introduced by Wizz Air for the summer season. Nine routes were launched in March (Berlin, Dortmund, Nice, Ohrid, Pristina, Rome/Fiumicino, Tirana, Tuzla, Warsaw/Chopin), with three more to follow by summer (Podgorica, Tel Aviv, Mykonos). Additionally, a temporary route to Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden will be operated during the runway reconstruction at Basel Airport. Ryanair is also launching three new routes - to Italian Pisa, Albanian Tirana, and Warsaw-Modlin.
