Viracopos Cargo Terminal Invests in Infrastructure and Workforce Expansion to Enhance Operational Efficiency

This advancement goes beyond physical infrastructure

Investing in infrastructure is also an investment in people and in the quality of overall operations.

With a focus on increasing efficiency and meeting the evolving needs of its customers, the Viracopos Cargo Terminal (TECA) is advancing an important phase in the enhancement of its operational infrastructure.

The initiative includes investments of approximately BRL 3 million in equipment and infrastructure, including the acquisition of new forklifts, tow tractors, and pallet trucks. Storage areas are also being expanded by approximately 1,000 square meters, increasing the terminal’s capacity to receive, handle, and store cargo.

This advancement goes beyond physical infrastructure. The company is also hiring 60 additional employees to support TECA operations, strengthening its workforce and contributing to an even more agile, safe, and efficient operation.

More equipment, more space, and more people working toward a common goal: increasing productivity, strengthening operational capacity, and continuously enhancing the level of service provided to customers.

Through these investments, Viracopos Airport continues to prepare its Cargo Terminal to meet today’s challenges while positioning itself to seize the opportunities of the future.
