New Montpellier - Charleroi route with TUI fly

Who better than a Belgian company to ensure the arrival of Belgian visitors to our beautiful territory? Thus, the airline TUI fly is expanding its offer of flights between Belgium and France by opening a Montpellier-Charleroi route. The new route will operate from 7 April to 24 October 2019 three times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The price, combined with quality of service, is extremely attractive: from €38.99 per one-way ticket including VAT, including 10kg of hand luggage (*), seats allocated by default. 

"Belgians like to go to France several times a year for holidays but also for shorter stays or even weekends. Flying saves time, allowing you to enjoy a stay in the sun in comfort by avoiding long journeys and tolls," argues the airline TUI fly. Extremely concerned about the environment, they add: "Moreover, with average fuel consumption of 3.5 litres per passenger per 100 km, flying is a proper alternative for motorists who usually travel alone in their car".

For Emmanuel Brehmer, Chairman of the Management Board of Montpellier-Mediterranée Airport, "this launch is truly excellent news. After strengthening our offer between Montpellier and Casablanca as of next spring, this important airline will connect Belgium to the south of France via Montpellier-Méditerranée. At the end of 2018, the arrival of TUI fly as a scheduled flight operator was a first for us, and with the opening of Charleroi their presence has become very significant at the beginning of 2019. While we are expecting many Belgian tourists, I have no doubt that many people from Montpellier and its region will also visit Charleroi and, beyond that, the whole Brussels region.”
