About The Airport

Zadar Airport is an international airport located 7 km east of city centre of Zadar, fifth-largest city in Croatia. The airport has one main passenger terminal, serving all scheduled and charter flights and a G&B terminal that serves private and VIP flights. Zadar Airport is the only airport in Croatia with two runways. Throughout years, several projects of reconstruction and extension of operative areas were implemented with the aim to achieve maximum traffic security and to increase capacity of the terminal.

When it comes to passenger traffic, a large-scale growth has been recorded throughout years, with steady year-to-year growth (except Covid period) and a record year 2023 which served more than 1.200.000 passengers. Following the passenger growth, the number of carriers and destinations to which the airport is connected has been developing. Also, additional extension of terminal building and operative areas are planned as new records in terms of passenger number and numer of operations are reached on yearly basis.
