The 2 millionth passenger, Miss Bettina Kral arrived this morning for her very first day at Audi Belgium and was pleasantly surprised by the attention. Marcel Buelens, CEO of Brussels South Charleroi Airport said:

„We are delighted with the arrival of the 2 millionth passenger for 2008. After a record-breaking summer we now look forward to a busy winter season. By the end of October 12 new routes will be launched to brand new and exciting destinations such as Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Riga, Manchester and Fez. But also the return of the typical ski routes Grenoble and Turin. We expect a total of 2,9 million passengers to travel through Brussels South Charleroi Airport during this calendar year."
