ASIANA AIRLINES as of 29JUL13 has revised operational flight numbers on Seoul Incheon – San Francisco route, which will take place from 12AUG13. OZ214/213 will be re-numbered as OZ212/211 from this date.

OZ212 ICN1720 – 1205SFO 77L 6
OZ211 SFO1310 – 1725+1ICN 77L x6
OZ211 SFO1325 – 1740+1ICN 77L 6
Service operated by new 2-class Boeing 777-200ER, dubbed as “77L”. Certain dates sees old configuration 777 operating as “772”, as well as revised schedule. ASIANA first used flight OZ212/211 when it launched San Francisco operation in December 1992 (2 weekly Boeing 747-400 service), until May 1998. OZ214/213 first appeared in late-October 1994, with 3 weekly Seoul Gimpo – San Francisco – Los Angeles Boeing 747-400COMBI flights.
In addition, US Airways also changed its codeshare flight numbers from US5204/5205 to US5239/5240 since mid/late-July 2013, while UNITED quietly cancelled codeshare service with ASIANA on this sector only, previously using flight number UA7979/7980. UNITED began codesharing with ASIANA, including Seoul – San Francisco route, on 01APR03.
