British Airways S16 London Heathrow Long-Haul Changes as of 12NOV15

British Airways this week has revised a number of planned long-haul operation from London Heathrow in summer 2016 season, effective 27MAR16. Planned changes as follow.

London Heathrow – Abuja eff 27MAR16 4-class 777-200ER continues operation, previously to be operated by 747-400
London Heathrow – Baltimore eff 01AUG16 Boeing 787-8 replaces 767-300ER, daily
London Heathrow – San Diego eff 27MAR16 Boeing 747-400 replaces 777-200ER, daily (Previously scheduled to be operated by 777-300ER)
London Heathrow – Washington Dulles eff 27MAR16 BA217/216 Day 6 service operated by 747-400, replacing A380

London Heathrow – Las Vegas eff 27MAR16 Increase form 7 to 10 weekly, 11th weekly service to be added from 02MAY16
London Heathrow – New York JFK eff 27MAR16 Service reduce from 9 to 8 daily (1 daily frequency moves to London Gatwick, starting 01MAY16)
London Heathrow – Seattle eff 27MAR16 Increase from 11 to 12 weekly
London Heathrow – San Jose CA eff 04MAY16 NEW daily service with Boeing 787-9
London Heathrow – Toronto eff 27MAR16 Boeing 777-200ER aircraft operates all service, overall frequency during peak season reduces from 16 to 14 weekly
London Heathrow – Vancouver 01MAY15 – 01OCT15 Airbus A380 replaces 747-400. Overall frequency in summer 2016 reduces from 12 to 7 weekly
