UNITED resurrects SFO – Taipei

UNITED Airlines today resurrects the suspended San Francisco – Taipei service on board a 777-200ER.

The flight was announced in late 2006, originally with a 747-400. The route was suspended in 2003 during SARS epidemic, led to dramatic downfall of passenger traffic.

At the meantime UNITED will cease the Taipei – Nagoya sector. UNITED entered Taiwan market in 1986, same year as it bought PanAm’s Trans-Pacific network and fleet.
