Ethiopian adds Chengdu from June 2017

Ethiopian Airlines in this week’s schedule update adjusted planned service to East Asia, including new service launch to Chengdu. Planned changes will be in effect from the week of 01JUN17.

Addis Ababa – Bangkok – Chengdu NEW service to Chengdu from 02JUN17, 3 weekly Boeing 787-8 service. No local traffic rights for Bangkok – Chengdu sector

Overall service to Bangkok will be reduced from 7 to 6 weekly from 01JUN17, including 3 weekly Addis AbabaBangkokManila service.

Addis Ababa – Singapore – Kuala Lumpur Planned service resumption to Singapore from 01JUN17 as nonstop flight remains unchanged, however frequency revised from 7 to 5 weekly. Service will extend to Kuala Lumpur

Overall service for Kuala Lumpur increases from 4 to 5 weekly, with intermediate stop in Singapore, instead of Bangkok. ET does not have local traffic rights for Singapore – Kuala Lumpur sector.
