Lufthansa W17 long-haul changes as of 16MAR17

Lufthansa this week made early adjustments to its Winter 2017/18 operations for long-haul routes, effective from 28/29OCT17. Initial changes as of 16MAR17 as follow.

Frankfurt – Atlanta eff 29OCT17 Service operated by A340-300, instead of A330/340 mix
Frankfurt – Bangkok eff 28OCT17 A380 replaces 3-class 747-400, 1 daily
Frankfurt – Chennai eff 29OCT17 CityLine A340-300 replaces Mainline aircraft, 1 daily
Frankfurt – Dallas/Ft. Worth eff 29OCT17 Service operates with A330-300 and A340-300, instead of A340-300 only
Frankfurt – Hong Kong eff 28OCT17 747-8I replaces A380, 1 daily
Frankfurt – Male eff 01NOV17 Reflected in previous schedule update, seasonal 2 weekly service in W17 operates with A330-300, replacing A340-300
Frankfurt – Philadelphia eff 29OCT17 Mainline A340-300 replaces CityLine aircraft
Frankfurt – Rio de Janeiro eff 28OC17 747-400 replaces -8I, 1 daily
