Korean Air S17 747-400 operations as of 19MAR17

Korean Air in recent weeks updated planned Boeing 747-400 operation for summer 2017 season. Like its rival Asiana, the Skyteam member 747-400 will be serving regional and domestic routes only.

The airline currently has 2 configuration type of 747-400 in service, 365 and 404-seater. The 365-seater is currently scheduled until 14SEP17. For summer season, the 747 will be mainly based at Seoul Gimpo, however Seoul Incheon will once again receives -400 service from June to August 2017.

Planned operation as of 19MAR17 as follow.

365-seater 747-400
Seoul Gimpo – Jeju Up to 5 daily (3 daily from 01JUN17, until last flight on 14SEP17)

404-seater 747-400
Seoul Gimpo – Jeju Multiple daily flights
Seoul Gimpo – Shanghai Hongqiao 29SEP17 – 10OCT17 1 daily
Seoul Incheon – Bangkok 01JUL17 – 31AUG17 KE651/652 1 daily
Seoul Incheon – Beijing 25JUN17 – 30AUG17 KE855/856 Day x246 (Day 57 only for the week of 25JUN17)
Seoul Incheon – Shanghai Pu Dong 01JUL17 – 31AUG17 Day 6 (Day 6 operates until 26AUG17, followed by one-time flight on 31AUG17)
